The twin villages of Houghton( pronounced as Father Christmas would. Ho ho ho)) and Wyton lie snuggled in the valley just off the A1123 between St. Ives ( the proper one) and Huntingdon about 13 miles from Cambridge.
No matter how you come into the villages of Houghton and Wyton, you will arrive at a pretty thatched clock tower in the village square. There is a community owned shop here and an excellent tea room should you need any supplies!
Mill Street lies opposite you. Park in the National Trust Car Park, (pay and display unless you are a member). There is another excellent tea room and toilets.
Walk through the passageway in the middle of the mill and our landing stage is right in front of you.
We can store bikes and pushchairs but cannot be trusted to guard your picnic if it has cake in it.
