We are so lucky to keep our boats on such a lovely stretch of the River Ouse.
Our boats are on the river all summer, 7 days a week, just waiting for adventures.
We have a range of boats, canoes, rowing boats, skiffs and punts and a large landing stage to make it easy for you to get in and out of our boats.
.
The National Trust tea room is nearby offering great cakes and more. If closed, there is an excellent tea shop in the village and two pubs.
Have a great day and come back smiling
This is the larger of our canoes. It is capable of taking 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, and even a well behaved dog.
We provide everything you need, paddles, buoyancy aids for all, lock keys if needed and dry bags for car keys, phones, food etc. We even have extra small paddles for extra small paddlers.
There is of course always room for a picnic basket!
These boats are very stable so ideal for families with small children. There is ample room for 2 adults and 2 children.
Rowing boats are very forgiving of fidgety children who may wish to move as they count fish, ducks or busy themselves crocodile spotting.
Punting is not as hard as it looks- even Cambridge undergraduates can do it!!
The gravely bottom of the Ouse is ideal for punting as the gravel lessens the chance of a pole getting stuck in the mud.
We are happy to give a short punting lesson. If still unsure, a punt can be paddled.
Punts can take up to 7 people – so just perfect for a social afternoon. One person does the work but the others can be busy giving advice!
